Parameter specifications

This page contains the specifications for the types and formats of monitoring data parameters (vital signs, equipment settings, etc) used in the dataset.

The format and contents of the Full Data files are described in the table shown below. The same data was used to generate the Trend Data, Waveform Plots, and Case Plots.

a The column number can be used with UNIX command line tools, for example cut -d , -f 4 uq_vsd_case01_fulldata_??.csv will retrieve all of the heart rate values from Case 1 (which are stored in Column 4).
b The alphabetical column identifier assigned when a Full Data .csv file is imported into Microsoft Excel.
c The column names are stored in the first row of each .csv Full Data file.
d Examples provided are in the format of the actual values in the .csv data files, e.g. the number of decimal places provided.
